PERMIT PERFECTION: With clear skies and light winds predicted, permit fishing should be exceptional as visibility improves dramatically. Expect extraordinary opportunities to spot schools of permit displaying their signature tailing and surface cruising behavior—particularly around the stronger tide phases. These elusive gamefish are transitioning into their spawning patterns, creating the year’s best chance at trophy-class permit on both ocean and gulf-side flats.

TARPON MIGRATION INTENSIFIES: Silver king numbers continue multiplying throughout our waters as the migration reaches its crescendo. The bite has been consistently productive with pinfish emerging as the standout bait choice over the past several days. These magnificent gamefish are establishing predictable patterns along channel edges, harbor basins, and oceanside travel routes—creating multiple opportunities from dawn until dusk.
